The Millstream Table

The Millstream Table was created from a simple idea: to build a piece of furniture that felt alive.

Inspired by the quiet movement of an Ozark creek and the timeless character of an old water mill, this table brings together natural hardwood, flowing water, stone, and craftsmanship in a way that turns function into art. At the center of the design is a hand-shaped river channel, carefully carved into the wood to carry a gentle stream of moving water across the table. Nestled within the riverbed are natural stones, arranged to guide the current and create the look and sound of water passing through a mountain stream.

The working waterwheel is the heart of the piece. As water flows through the channel, the wheel turns, adding motion, sound, and story to the table. It is a reminder of a slower time, when craftsmanship, nature, and purpose were closely connected.

Every detail of The Millstream Table was intentionally designed to feel organic and timeless. The wood carries the warmth, grain, and imperfections that make each slab unique. The riverbed brings texture and movement. The waterwheel adds a sense of wonder. Together, these elements create more than a table — they create an experience.

Like every piece from Ozark River Tables, The Millstream Table is built to be both functional and memorable. It is a conversation piece, a work of craftsmanship, and a tribute to the natural beauty that inspires our work.

Built from wood. Shaped by water. Designed to tell a story.
